Homemade Cherry, Balsamic, Garlic Glaze: Black Cherry, Sugar, Balsamic vinegar, Garlic, Lemon Juice, Cornflower, *Water, Butter (MILK), *Salt.

What’s Included


How to Cook

  1. Prepare the chicken
    Remove the chicken from the fridge 1 hour before cooking. Preheat the oven to 200°C / 180°C fan / Gas Mark 6.

  2. Season & roast
    Pat dry, season the chicken inside and out with sea salt and black pepper. Roast breast-side up for 20 minutes to seal.

  3. Lower & slow roast
    Reduce oven to 180°C / 160°C fan / Gas Mark 4 and cook for approximately 45 minutes per kg, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C in the thickest part of the thigh.

  4. Add the glaze

    • For a caramelised finish: Brush the cherry balsamic & garlic glaze over the chicken during the final 15 minutes of roasting.

    • For a purer glaze flavour: Roast plain and serve the warm glaze alongside or spoon over the carved chicken just before serving.

  5. Rest & serve
    Rest the chicken for 15–20 minutes loosely covered with foil, then carve and serve with your favourite sides.
